Rating: EF0 Estimated Peak Wind: 80 mph Path Length /statute/: 2.7 miles Path Width /maximum/: 100 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/03/2025 Start Time: 01:19 AM EDT Start Location: 2 N St. Martin / Clinton County / OH Start Lat/Lon: 39.2494 / -83.8805 End Date: 04/03/2025 End Time: 01:22 AM EDT End Location: 2 WNW Lynchburg / Clinton County / OH End Lat/Lon: 39.2604 / -83.832 Survey Summary: This statement provides information on a newly confirmed brief EF0 tornado that affected the far southern portion of Clinton County during the early morning hours of April 3, 2025. The tornado appears to have begun on Chaney Road, barely on the Clinton County side of the county line, where roof damage was observed on an outbuilding. On Weisflock Road, a barn was overturned and large tree limbs were knocked over. The last damage was observed on Oakgrove Road, where a barn was destroyed and tree damage was noted. Maximum winds are estimated to be up near 80 mph, corresponding to EF0 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale.
