.KEY MESSAGES...
Key Message 1) Drier and cooler conditions are expected through the
rest of the week. Warmer weather will return early next week along
with a chance for showers and thunderstorms.

.DISCUSSION...
KEY MESSAGE 1)
High pressure and a cooler, drier airmass will build into the region
today into Thursday. Highs both days will be in the 70s. The surface
high will shift slowly east through the weekend, leading to a
gradual warming trend. Highs will return back to near normal
readings by Sunday.

Northwest flow will persist aloft into early next week. The warming
temperatures will combine with some embedded mid level energy
dropping southeast across the Great Lakes to bring the next chance
for showers and thunderstorms Monday into Tuesday.

.AVIATION /09Z WEDNESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY/...
High pressure will build into the region through tonight. Some mid
level clouds will be possible early in the period but generally
expect mainly just some sct-bkn VFR cu/stratocu later this morning
and into this afternoon. The clouds will dissipate this evening
leaving mostly clear skies overnight.

OUTLOOK...No significant weather expected.
