1) A quieter and cooler pattern is expected for the end of the
weekend into the first half of the work week.

.DISCUSSION...
KEY MESSAGE 1)

Large scale ridging builds into our west, heralding in northerly
flow and a broad area of surface high pressure. This translates to
quieter and cooler conditions, with highs on Sunday and Monday only
reaching the low 80s, while overnight lows fall into the low
60s/upper 50s.

Unfortunately, this reprieve is short lived as the
bulk of the ridge continues to push east into our area, bringing a
return temperatures in the low 90s by mid week. Ensemble guidance has
decent consensus in a broad area of low pressure moving through the
Hudson Bay region mid week. This will bring a cold front down
through the Great Lakes sometime around Wednesday into late week. While
details regarding this system will be fine tuned over the coming
days, it looks like this could be our next chance for showers and
storms.

.AVIATION /09Z SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY/...
The early morning MVFR deck will slowly shift south out of our
region, being replaced with VFR conditions. Northeasterly flow will
increase to 10 to 15 knots today with scattered cu.

Winds decrease around sunset, though remain out of the northeast.
