  Southeastern Bladen County in southeastern North Carolina...
  Northeastern Columbus County in southeastern North Carolina...

* Until 715 PM EDT.

* At 621 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Council, or
  12 miles east of Whiteville, moving northeast at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind
           damage to trees and powerlines.

* Locations impacted include:
  Rowan, Carvers, Sandyfield, Hallsboro, East Arcadia, Redbug,
  Council, Emerson, Kelly, Bolton, and Lake Waccamaw.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Wilmington.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
