...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN BLADEN AND NORTH
CENTRAL COLUMBUS COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM EDT...
At 542 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Elkton, or 7 miles south of Elizabethtown, moving southeast at 10
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Whiteville, Carvers, Hallsboro, Abbottsburg, Lisbon, Redbug, Elkton,
Council, Emerson, Brunswick, Clarkton, and Columbus Regional
Healthcare System.
