500 PM EDT...
At 427 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
White Stocking, or 9 miles northeast of Burgaw, moving southwest at
15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Burgaw, White Stocking, Rocky Point, Currie, Maple Hill, Long Creek,
Murray Town, Ashton, Malpass Corner, St. Helena, and Pender Memorial
Hospital.
This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 394 and 412.
