...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL NEW HANOVER AND
SOUTHEASTERN BRUNSWICK COUNTIES THROUGH 800 PM EDT...

At 701 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Kure Beach to near Boiling Spring Lakes to near
Brunswick County Community College Main Campus. Movement was
southwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Oak Island, Carolina Beach, Shallotte, Kure Beach, Holden Beach,
Caswell Beach, Bald Head Island, Snows Cut, Ocean Crest Pier, South
Masonboro Island, Boiling Spring Lakes, St. James, Southport, Civie
Town, Supply, Brunswick County Community College Main Campus,
Winnabow, Fort Fisher, Mill Creek, and Sea Breeze.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for
southeastern North Carolina.
