A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
  Waters from Little River Inlet SC to South Santee River SC from 20
  to 60 NM...

At 431 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong
thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 33 knots. This
cluster of thunderstorms was located 17 nm southeast of Vermillion
Reef, moving east at 60 knots.

The strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters as they
move further offshore.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes. If caught on the open water,
prepare for deteriorating conditions. Make sure you and your crew are
wearing properly fitted life jackets.
