...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 AM EDT...

For the following areas...
Waters from Little River Inlet to Murrells Inlet SC from 20 to 40
nm...

At 755 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts
was located 9 nm southeast of Sunset Mid Shelf Buoy, moving west at
10 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Sunset Mid Shelf Buoy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
