As Erin moves away, long-period swells will likely maintain a high
risk for dangerous rip currents north of Cape Fear through at least
Friday, with a decreasing risk for beaches south of Cape Fear from
Thursday onward as the swell direction becomes easterly to east-
northeasterly behind Erin.

Also, minor coastal flooding is likely during the evening high tide
cycles Wednesday and Thursday.
