.DISCUSSION...
Bermuda high pressure will keep temperatures well above normal
through Sunday with heat indices up to 100F possible. Shower and
storm coverage is expected to be scattered away from the
immediate coast on Saturday ahead of a weak cold front, but a pop-up
shower or storm can still form over or near Surf City as storms
evolve through the afternoon and into the early evening. An
isolated shower or storm cannot be ruled out Sunday afternoon.
