Fire Weather Planning Forecast
for Northeast South Carolina and Southeast North Carolina
National Weather Service Wilmington NC
118 PM EST Sun Feb 22 2026

.DISCUSSION...
A band of showers will cross the area this afternoon before drier
air filters in tonight. Cold and dry weather will continue into
early this week, and breezy northwest winds paired with lower
humidity could present some fire weather concerns on Monday.
Temperatures will then rise above normal again for the latter half
of next week ahead of another frontal system, with rain chances
returning from Thursday onward.

Fog potential for tonight is None.
