...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON TO SATURDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Cape Fear River at William O Huske Lock And Dam 3.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 45.0 feet, Flood waters will affect lowlands along
  the east bank of the river with some minor overflow along the west
  bank.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 40.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this afternoon to a crest of 44.6 feet tomorrow evening.
    It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 42.0 feet.
