...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN ELK...SOUTHWESTERN
WILSON...WESTERN MONTGOMERY AND EASTERN CHAUTAUQUA COUNTIES THROUGH
530 PM CDT...

At 450 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 2 miles north of Howard to
7 miles northeast of Sedan to 5 miles east of Chautauqua. Movement
was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Caney, Longton, and Havana around 455 PM CDT.
  Elk City and Tyro around 505 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
southeastern Kansas.
