Warm conditions and sunny skies prevailed over central and eastern
Kansas today. Afternoon temperatures were in the middle 80s with
southeast winds of 10 to 20 mph.

Surface low pressure will deepen over eastern Colorado tonight
with dry weather expected across the central plains. Temperatures
will be a bit warmer tonight with lows ranging from the 50s in
western sections of Nebraska and Kansas, to the middle 60s in
eastern Oklahoma.

On Wednesday, much warmer air will spread eastward across the
Heartland as the surface low pressure shifts slowly northeast from
western Kansas into southern Nebraska. Some record highs could
possibly being broken over parts of central Kansas with expected
daytime highs ranging from the mid 90s to around 100 degrees.
Elsewhere daytime highs will be in the 80s to low 90s with mostly
sunny skies over Nebraska and Oklahoma.
