A cool and damp day has dominated much of the central plains today
with afternoon temperatures generally ranging from the mid 30s
across western and central Nebraska to the low 50s across southern
Kansas. Patchy areas of drizzle and light showers remain across
the region, but most locations have generally dried out this
evening. Tonight, rain and snow chances will generally remain
confined to far southern and southwest Kansas, and overnight lows
will range from the upper teens across the northern High Plains to
the mid 40s across southeast Kansas and southern Missouri.

Rain chances will continue to remain confined to southern Kansas,
but will shift from west to east during the day on Saturday.
Afternoon highs will generally be in the 40s and low 50s. For
Saturday night, snow may mix in with any remaining rain showers
across southern and southeast Kansas. Saturday night lows will
range from the teens across the High Plains to the mid 30s across
southeast Kansas and southern Missouri.
