A quiet, cool, and clear night was seen across the state.
Overnight lows fell into the 40s and lower 50s. Winds were light
and variable behind the front and patchy dense fog impacted
portions of southeastern Kansas.

Today, much warmer temperatures are expected with highs reaching
into the 80s state wide. A few 90s are possible across far
southwest and south-central Kansas. Showers and thunderstorms will
develop ahead of another frontal boundary late this afternoon with
isolated severe storms possible.

Tonight, rain and storms will continue through the night, though
widespread severe weather is not anticipated. A few locations may
receive rainfall amounts up to half an inch. Overnight lows will
fall into the 40s across western Kansas and the 50s for eastern
Kansas.
