Mostly clear skies and mild temperatures were in place across
central and eastern Kansas overnight. Early morning temperatures
ranged from the middle 50s across central and northern Kansas to
the middle 40s across southeast Kansas.

A few showers and storms will be possible today across far western
Kansas and western Nebraska as an upper level disturbance
approaches the area. Shower and storm coverage will increase
tonight, especially across central and western Nebraska as moisture
continues to funnel into the High Plains.

Highs today are expected to range from the low 50s over western
Nebraska to the upper 70s from eastern Nebraska down through
Kansas and into Oklahoma. Look for overnight lows to range from
the low 50s from western Kansas into eastern Nebraska to the 40s
across Iowa and Missouri.
