Temperatures this morning across Mid-America were generally in the
50s and 60s. A batch of showers was located across portions of
southwest and south-central Kansas this morning. These showers will
slowly move north and east this morning. Temperatures across the
region will only rise into the 60s and 70s this afternoon.
Additional storms are forecast to develop across the High Plains and
trek eastward late tonight into early Friday morning. A few of these
storms could be strong to severe across portions of southern Kansas.
Lows tonight will generally be in the 50s and 60s.

For Friday, storms in the morning will decrease in intensity and
coverage across Kansas and western Missouri. While a break in
activity seems likely during the afternoon hours, additional showers
and storms are forecast across much of Kansas, southern Nebraska,
and western Missouri Friday night into Saturday morning. Friday
afternoon highs will rise into the 70s and 80s, while Friday night
lows will dip into the 50s and 60s.
