It was a hot day in the Sunflower State today with high
temperatures in the lower 90s in eastern Kansas to the lower 100s
in western Kansas. Sunny skies prevailed with breezy conditions;
some areas in central Kansas saw wind gusts up to 50 mph.

Tonight low temperatures will be well above normal, with lows in
the upper 70s across the Central Plains. Skies will remain clear
with breezy conditions persisting, with most areas seeing gusts up
to 30 mph.

Sunday will be similar to today in the Central Plains with high
temperatures in the low 90s to low 100s. Sunny skies will continue
as well as windy conditions. Wind gusts across the area will
generally be around 30 mph with the strongest winds in central
Kansas where up to 50 mph is likely.
