A smattering of hit-or-miss rain showers drifted north over western
Kansas this morning, as a strong storm system spun over the
Southwest USA. Rainfall amounts were very light for most. Late
afternoon temperatures ranged from 50s over extreme northwest
Kansas, to near 80 degrees over the eastern half of Kansas. Normal
high temperatures this time of year range from the mid 60s over
northwest Kansas, to low 70s over southeast Kansas.

A few showers are possible tonight and Sunday over extreme western
Kansas. Otherwise, dry weather will continue statewide. Forecast low
temperatures tonight are in the 40s and 50s, with forecast highs
Sunday in the 70s to low 80s.
