Scattered showers and storms affected much of eastern Kansas this
afternoon with most of central Kansas remaining dry. Late
afternoon temperatures ranged from the upper 80s over northeast
Kansas, to the low 90s across the remainder of the area.

A few showers and storms will linger this evening across eastern
Kansas into Missouri, along with central and eastern Oklahoma.
Brief heavy rain and gusty winds will be possible with the
stronger storms. Not as many showers and storms are expected for
Friday, but a few will be possible across Missouri, eastern Kansas
and Oklahoma.

Overnight lows are expected to range from the low 60s across
western Nebraska to the low 70s across eastern Kansas into
Oklahoma. Look for highs on Friday to generally be in the 90 to 95
degree range region wide.
