Under partly to mostly cloudy conditions, early morning
temperatures remained cool across the region. Predawn temperatures
ranged from the mid and upper 20s in northwest Kansas to the lower
50s in southeast Kansas.

Rain showers will expand in coverage over much of the region today
keeping temperatures below normal. Afternoon highs will range from
the lower 40s over the high plains of northwest Kansas to near 60
in much of eastern Kansas.

A brief lull in precipitation is expected for much of the night
before increasing chances return during the early morning hours on
Friday. Lows tonight are expected to fall into the 30s over
western Kansas while those in far southeast Kansas see lows in the
upper 40s.
