Quiet and seasonably mild conditions were seen across the Plains
during the overnight hours. Temperatures fell into the 60s for
western portions of the state with lower 70s observed in eastern
Kansas. A few lingering clouds dotted southeast Kansas, otherwise
mostly clear skies were seen elsewhere.

Today, temperatures will continue to remain near normal for this
time of year with afternoon highs reaching into the upper 80s to
lower 90s. A few showers and storms are possible in eastern Kansas
this afternoon, severe weather is not anticipated.

Tonight, any lingering shower and thunderstorm activity will
diminish quickly. Overnight lows will fall into the 60s and lower
70s. Some clouds are expected to linger across eastern Kansas.
