While most of central and eastern Kansas remained dry today,
there were a few showers and storms that affected southeast Kansas
late this afternoon. Temperatures late this afternoon were
generally around 90 degrees across the area.

A few showers and storms may linger across southern Missouri,
southeast Kansas and eastern Oklahoma early this evening.
Meanwhile, the remainder of the Plains will remain dry tonight.
Scattered showers and storms will be possible on Thursday across
much of Missouri and southeast Kansas as a weak upper level
disturbance moves through.

Overnight lows are expected to range from the low 60s over western
Nebraska to the low 70s over eastern Oklahoma. Highs on Thursday
will once again be around 90 degrees for most of the region.
