Tranquil weather conditions prevailed across central and eastern
Kansas last night. Predawn temperatures were in the 60s with light
north winds and just a few high clouds floating overhead.

It will be a pleasant weather day for the start of July with
slightly below normal daytime highs today. Surface high pressure
will settle over the central plains with light northerly winds and
mostly sunny skies. Daytime highs will be in the 80s across middle
America.

The dry and quiet weather across the Heartland continues for
tonight as surface high pressure remains in control over the
region. Overnight lows will range from the low 60s in western
Nebraska to the upper 60s in eastern Oklahoma.
