Large portions of the central plains are seeing temperatures in
the 40s early this morning with widespread showers and
thunderstorms across portions of eastern Kansas and western
Missouri. Later this morning, much more widespread rainfall is
expected across the eastern half of Kansas. These showers and
storms will eventually spread across much of Missouri and
southeastern Nebraska later today. Afternoon highs will generally
be in the 50s and 60s across the region. For tonight, rain chances
will end from southwest to northeast across the region. Overnight
lows will be in the 30s and 40s.

Monday will be much quieter with highs in the 70s and 80s and lows
in the 40s and 50s. However, a few showers cannot be ruled out
across portions of Missouri River Valley during the evening and
nighttime hours.
