Tonight was a cooler night across the Sunflower State. Low
temperatures were below normal with lows dropping into the lower
60s. Showers and storms tracked from western Kansas into central
Kansas. The strongest activity of these storms occurred in
southwestern Kansas where damaging winds were observed along with
large hail. The main activity in other areas were strong gusty
winds and locally heavy rainfall.

Sunday will continue the trend of below normal temperatures across
the Central Plains. High temperatures will range from the mid 70s
to mid 80s with the warmest highs in eastern Colorado and western
Nebraska. Scattered showers and storms are possible mainly in
eastern Nebraska, central Kansas, and western Oklahoma with the
best chances in Oklahoma.

Sunday night will be similar to tonight in below normal low
temperatures in the Central Plains. Lows will drop into the 60s
with the coolest temperatures in western Nebraska. Rain chances
will be possible again in south-central Kansas and central
Oklahoma with the better storm chances in Oklahoma.
