Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Wichita KS
212 AM CST Fri Jan 31 2025

It was a moist and mild night across the Sunflower State as remnant
showers hung around and brought light rain to the area. Patches of
dense fog were observed and brought visibilities down to below one
quarter of a mile in some regions. Across Middle America,
temperatures ranged from the 20s across the Nebraska Panhandle to
the 40s across Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

Showers will gradually make their way out of Kansas through the
morning hours and give way to clear skies by this afternoon.
Northwest winds gusting to near 20 mph are expected across central
and eastern Kansas and into the Ozark Plateau. Otherwise, pleasant
weather is anticipated throughout the Central Plains. High
temperatures will be well above average in the 50s and 60s from
Nebraska to the Red River Valley.

It will be a cool night tonight over the Central Plains with lows in
the 20s and 30s throughout the area. South winds will be light, and
skies are expected to be mostly clear.
