Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Wichita KS
448 AM CDT Tue Apr 22 2025

Thin high clouds streamed over Kansas for much of the night which
helped to keep overnight temperatures more mild compared to last
night. Temperatures ranged from the upper 30s across northwest
Kansas to the upper 50s across eastern Kansas.

Another breezy and warm day is expected over portions of central
and eastern Kansas today as a weak cold front settles from
southwest to northeast Kansas. High temperatures will range from
the mid 70s across southwest Nebraska to the upper 70s across
southwestern Missouri. Isolated thunderstorms may develop this
evening and overnight in the vicinity of the weak front with
storms moving off to the northeast overnight. A few of these
storms may become strong to severe with large hail and damaging
winds the main threat.
