Scattered showers continue across southeast Kansas and adjacent
areas of Missouri and Oklahoma. This activity will continue to
push southeast through the evening hours. Otherwise, a quiet
afternoon has been ongoing across the Plains with temperatures
rebounding into the 80s for most locations.

Transitioning into tonight, a stray shower cannot be ruled out
across the Flint Hills tonight. Temperatures will dip into the 60s
for most locations. Dry and warmer conditions will return to the
Plains for Thursday as highs are forecast to reach the upper 80s
to mid 90s.
