Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Wichita KS
441 PM CST Sat Nov 23 2024

It was a nice fall day across Kansas with afternoon temperatures
in the mid 50s to mid 60s which are five to fifteen degrees above
seasonal normal. Winds were primarily out of the south at 5 to 15
mph. There was a good amount of sunshine with only cirrus clouds
overhead.

A low pressure system along the Front Range will shift further
east into the Central Plains tonight. Associated moisture ahead of
the system could result in the development of fog late tonight
into early Sunday morning in Nebraska and central Kansas.
Overnight temperatures are forecast to drop to the upper 20s in
the north to around 50 degrees in the south. Winds are expected
at 5 to 15 mph out of the south to west.

Morning fog could linger in Nebraska and central Kansas. Another
nice above seasonal normal day is anticipated to cap off the
weekend across most of the Central Plains with afternoon high
temperatures from the lower 40s in northern Nebraska to the lower
70s in Oklahoma. Most of Kansas will be in the upper 50s to upper
60s with 70 degrees not out of the question. As the low pushes
east, winds will transition from the south to the north at speed
of 5 to 20 mph with the higher speeds across central Nebraska, eastern
Oklahoma and southern Missouri. There is potential for rain and
snow in western Nebraska later in the day.
