The quiet weather pattern continued over Middle America early this
morning as temperatures dropped into the 20s and 30s across Nebraska
and Kansas. High clouds were observed throughout the region with
light winds being observed at the surface.

Areas of fog expected to continue into the late morning and early
afternoon before giving way to mostly cloudy skies. High
temperatures will range from the 30s and 40s across the eastern
halves of Kansas and Nebraska to the 50s and 60s across western
Kansas and Oklahoma. Winds are forecast to remain light throughout
the day as well.

Low temperatures tonight will drop into the 20s and 30s once again
across Nebraska, Kansas, and northern Oklahoma under partly cloudy
to mostly clear skies. Light winds will persist into Saturday
morning as the recent quiet pattern continues to hold over the
Heartland.
