Unseasonably warm conditions continue to impact the central US
with 4 AM temperatures in the 70s to near 80 degrees across the
region. Aside from a few clouds across western Kansas, the entire
central Plains region is cloud-free as well. Similar to the past
month or so, most areas will surge through the 90s and into the
low 100s this afternoon. Factoring in the humidity will produce
heat indices near 105 degrees, especially across eastern Kansas.
Temperatures tonight will remain warm once again with lows ranging
from near 70 across western kansas to the mid 70s across central
and eastern Kansas.
