Mostly sunny skies and pleasant conditions were in place across
central and eastern Kansas today. Late afternoon temperatures
ranged from around 70 over southern Kansas, to the middle 50s over
the northeast corner of the Sunflower State.

For tonight, high pressure is expected to remain in control across
the Plains and will provide mostly clear skies and cool
temperatures. Look for overnight lows to range from the upper 20s
across eastern Nebraska into Iowa to around 40 over central
Oklahoma. For Tuesday, low pressure will develop over the High
Plains and will cause winds to flip around to the south and will
also bring warmer temperatures. Highs on Tuesday are expected to
range from around 80 over western Kansas to the 50s across much of
Missouri and Iowa.
