Scattered showers and thunderstorms impacted much of Kansas during
the overnight hours. A few of these storms produced severe wind
and hail as well as localized flooding. Overnight lows remained
fairly seasonable, falling into the 50s areawide.

For today, another fairly mild day is expected. Rain and storms
will come to an end across southeastern Kansas after sunrise.
Then, mostly cloudy conditions are expected with afternoon highs
warning into the 60s and 70s across the state. A few spotty
showers or thunderstorms are possible during the daytime hours,
mainly across northwest Kansas.

Another round of rain and storms is expected to develop this
evening and continue into the overnight hours. The severe threat
will be limited to southeastern Kansas where large hail, flooding,
and isolated high wind gusts will be possible. Overnight lows will
range from the upper 40s in northwest Kansas to the lower 60s in
southeastern Kansas.
