A complex of thunderstorms impacted parts of central and western
Kansas during the overnight hours, while much of eastern Kansas
remained dry. Early morning temperatures ranged from the the mid
60s to the lower 70s across the region.

Another hot and breezy day is expected across central and western
Kansas with highs in the mid and upper 90s, while those in
northeast Kansas see highs in the upper 80s.

Isolated storms may drift eastward across parts of western and
northern Kansas tonight but most areas are expected to remain dry.
Lows will remain mild for late August, ranging from the upper 60s
to lower 70s.
