Mostly sunny skies were once again in place across central and
eastern Kansas today. Late afternoon temperatures ranged from the
upper 80s over northeast Kansas, to the upper 90s across southern
Kansas. A few locations across southern Kansas saw afternoon heat
indices in the 105 to 110 degree range.

Scattered showers and storms will be possible tonight across north
central Nebraska as an upper level disturbance moves into the
area. Meanwhile, the remainder of the Plains are expected to
remain dry tonight. For Wednesday, additional showers and storms
will be possible across central and eastern Nebraska with dry
conditions from Kansas down through Oklahoma.

Overnight lows are forecast to range from the 60s across most of
Nebraska to the upper 70s across Oklahoma. Look for highs on
Wednesday to range from the 70s across eastern Nebraska into Iowa,
to around 100 over western Oklahoma.
