Today was a warmer day across the Sunflower State as high
temperatures rose back into the 90s. Skies were mostly sunny with
light southerly winds around 10 mph. Tonight, low temperatures
will drop into the mid 60s in western Kansas with lows in the mid
70s in eastern Kansas. Skies will remain mostly clear with very
light southerly winds around 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday will be a hotter day across the Central Plains. A Heat
Advisory is in effect for Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska
with an Extreme Heat Warning in effect in eastern Nebraska. High
temperatures will climb into the 90s and lower 100s with heat
indices up to 110 degrees. Skies will be mostly sunny with
southerly winds around 10 to 15 mph.
