This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Very high grassland fire danger will be in place Thursday afternoon
for locations generally west of Highway 14.

Very strong west and southwest winds are anticipated for Friday with
gusts in the 45 to 55 mph range possible. These strong winds will
also elevate the fire danger into the extreme category. Any fire
that starts on Friday will be difficult to control.

A few storms will be possible Friday afternoon and evening over
extreme southeast Kansas. A few strong storms will be possible with
this activity.

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
