This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A few lingering thunderstorms are possible across southeast Kansas
this morning, with locally heavy rainfall.

Thunderstorms will develop over central Kansas mainly after 5pm and
are expected to become more numerous during the night time hours as
they spread southeast across area. A few of the storms could become
severe and capable of producing damaging to potentially significant
damaging downburst winds of 60 to 85 mph over central Kansas. The
severe threat will gradually lessen after midnight with heavy
rainfall and gusty winds less than 60mph becoming the primary risk.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Thunderstorm chances will continue into Monday morning across
southern and southeast Kansas, with the primary risk being locally
heavy rainfall.

The chances for thunderstorms will return to the region on Friday
and Friday night.

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
