This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Evening and Tonight

Heat indices around 105 degrees are likely through early evening
across the region.

A few isolated thunderstorms are possible areawide through this
evening and tonight. Isolated strong wind gusts will be the primary
hazard.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Triple digit heat indices will persist through Tuesday early
evening across much of the area.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible Tuesday morning,
and again by mid to late afternoon Tuesday, and persisting through
the evening and night. Isolated strong to severe wind gusts will be
the primary hazard.

After a mostly dry Wednesday through Friday, off-and-on thunderstorm
chances are expected to increase across the region this weekend and
persist into early next week. Stay tuned as we refine severe weather
chances.
