South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

Heat index values for this afternoon and early evening will be
around 105 degrees for much of the area. See the latest heat
advisory for additional details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Heat index values Wednesday afternoon across southeast and southern
Kansas will be between 100 and 105 degrees.

Storm chances will start to increase tonight and remain in the
forecast through the weekend. Widespread severe storms are not
expected with this activity.
