Breezy north winds could create some blowing and drifting of snow in open areas through the afternoon. Please refer to the Winter Storm Warning and the Winter Weather Advisory products for additional details. Below zero wind chills are expected early this morning for central Kansas, and area-wide late tonight. Wind chill values as cold as 15 below zero are likely for central Kansas late tonight. See latest cold weather advisory for more details. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Sub zero wind chills are expected area-wide Thursday morning with the coldest values around 15 below zero likely for central Kansas. A cold weather advisory is in effect through mid morning on Thursday. Two more storm systems are forecast to affect the region over the coming days. The first storm system looks to bring more snow to the region for late Friday night into Saturday. Meanwhile a second system could bring yet another round of snow to the area early next week. Stay tuned as we continue to refine forecast details in the coming days.
