This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A few isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms will
impact portions of east-central, south-central, and southeast
Kansas into the afternoon hours. Severe weather is not expected.

Heat indices will climb into the 100 to 106 degree range over much
of the area this afternoon through early evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Triple digit heat indices will persist through Tuesday across much
of the area.

Off-and-on thunderstorm chances will continue Tuesday through early
Wednesday. Severe storms are not expected.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
