This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today through Tonight

A few strong to marginally severe storms are possible this afternoon
and evening, mainly along and west of Interstate 135. An isolated
stronger storm will be capable of producing downburst winds to 60
mph, quarter size hail, and locally heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Afternoon heat indices above 100 degrees are expected to return
across southern Kansas for Wednesday through Saturday.
