This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered storms will impact southeast Kansas this morning bringing
gusty winds and locally heavy rain. Severe storms are not expected
this morning.

Heat indices will climb into the 100 to 105 degree range again this
afternoon over much of the area.

A few severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening across
the area. Damaging winds of 60-65 mph and heavy rain are the primary
threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Triple digit heat indices will persist through Tuesday early
evening across much of the area.

Increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms will return Friday
night into early next week.

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
