This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
east central Kansas, south central Kansas and southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will exit south-central and
southeast Kansas to the south early this morning. Dime sized hail,
gusty winds, and brief heavy rainfall may accompany the strongest
activity.

Afternoon through early evening heat indices will range from around
100 to 105 degrees, highest over south-central Kansas.

Additional thunderstorm chances are expected to arrive from the
north this evening and tonight. A few strong to severe thunderstorms
are possible, capable of large hail, damaging winds, and locally
heavy rain.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Periodic thunderstorm chances are forecast across the region late
Saturday night through next week, highest during the evening, night,
and early morning hours.

Triple digit heat indices are possible during the afternoon through
early evening hours Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday, mainly across
south-central and southeast Kansas.
