This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Gusty south winds will keep the grassland fire danger very high this
afternoon especially in areas north of US Highway 50. Outdoor
burning should be avoided.

Strong southerly winds are expected across Central Kansas this
afternoon. See current Wind Advisory for additional details. Some
blowing dust may accompany these strong winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Showers and thunderstorms are possible Saturday morning through
Sunday mainly west of I-135. Higher rain and storm chances should
sweep east across the region Sunday night through Monday. Severe
weather or widespread heavy rainfall is not expected.

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
