This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

An isolated thunderstorm or two is possible northwest of a Great
Bend to Ellsworth line.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Heat indices up to 106 are expected across portions of south-
central and southeast Kansas Saturday afternoon and evening.

Triple digit heat indices remain possible Sunday afternoon, mainly
over south-central and southeast Kansas. After a weak cool down,
triple digit heat indices may return by Thursday of next week.

A few isolated thunderstorms are possible areawide Saturday
late afternoon, evening, and night. Greater chances for
thunderstorms arrive late Sunday and persist through Monday night
or Tuesday. Strong downburst winds and locally heavy rainfall may
accompany the strongest activity.
