This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
east central Kansas, south central Kansas and southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered showers and storms are expected today and tonight. Some
storms could be strong to marginally severe capable of producing
downbursts with wind gusts between 55 and 65 mph. Additionally,
storms will produce heavy rainfall, and this may lead to localized
flooding.

Heat indicies will hit or exceed 105 across portions of southeast
Kansas today. See heat advisory for the latest details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Scattered showers and storms could linger across central Kansas
Wednesday morning. Heavy rainfall and localized flooding cannot be
ruled out.

Periodic chances for showers and storms will return late Friday
afternoon through Sunday morning.
