...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Localized flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of Central Kansas, including the following
  counties, Barton, Ellsworth and Russell.

* WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Localized flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other
  low-lying and flood-prone locations is possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 413 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain has already
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in
    the warned area through early this morning.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Russell, Holyrood, Dorrance, Bunker Hill and Russell Airport.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don`t
drown.
