...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive runoff from earlier heavy
  rainfall.

* WHERE...A portion of Central Kansas, including the following
  counties, McPherson and Saline.

* WHEN...Until 1245 PM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1242 AM CDT, Excessive runoff from earlier slow moving
    thunderstorms will continue to cause some ongoing flooding
    problems in the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Salina, Lindsborg, Marquette, Brookville, Smolan, Falun,
    Glendale and Salina Airport.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don`t
drown.
