The Flood Warning is cancelled for a portion of Southeast Kansas,
including the following area, Elk.

Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to
heed remaining road closures.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 700 AM CDT Wednesday for
portions of Central, South Central, and Southeast Kansas...

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 AM CDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of South Central and Southeast Kansas, including
  the following counties, in South Central Kansas, Butler. In
  Southeast Kansas, Greenwood and Woodson.

* WHEN...Until 215 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 909 PM CDT, Flooding continues due to the runoff of heavy
    rainfall earlier on Tuesday.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Eureka, Yates Center, Leon, Toronto, Hamilton, Severy, Fall
    River, Neosho Falls, Latham, Climax, Virgil, Fall River Lake,
    Eureka Airport, Fall River State Park, Eureka City Lake,
    Cross Timbers State Park, Toronto Lake, Batesville, Piedmont
    and Beaumont.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don`t
drown.
