The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southern Greenwood County in southeastern Kansas...
  Woodson County in southeastern Kansas...

* Until 845 PM CDT.

* At 447 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar estimated 2 to 5 inches of rainfall over the
           past 3 hours. An additional 2 to 4 inches are possible
           through 6 PM.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Eureka, Yates Center, Toronto, Severy, Fall River, Neosho Falls,
  Climax, Virgil, Toronto Lake, Cross Timbers State Park,
  Batesville, Fall River State Park, Fall River Lake, Rose, Piqua
  and Piedmont.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Chelsea Township, Plum Creek, Walnut Creek, Bachelor Creek, Miller
  Creek, Pawpaw Creek, Sandy Creek, Indian Creek, Homer Creek, Kitty

feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don`t
